Goal Evaluation and Assessment

Think of this as our “get to know you” meeting. To help you achieve your goals and create a training plan specifically designed for you, it’s necessary for us to become acquainted. This is extremely important for running newbies and marathon newbies. Whatever your skill level, this is an important part of the training process.
We will meet via video or phone, and:
- Get acquainted. It’s important to know each other. Different personalities require different kinds of coaching and motivation.
- Establish your goals.
- Discuss your running experience, fitness level, and injury history.
- Review basic nutrition, hydration, gadgets, shoes and more. (We’ll dig further into this in the course of your training).
- Discuss how much time and energy you have to train; this will help me create your plan.
- Discuss how strength training, cross training and any other sport can aid your running goals.
- Find a way to keep you focused. No matter how ambitious your goal, hard work and running should be fun!
Personalized Training Program
Based on the information gathered in our Assessment, I will create a plan personalized for you. This plan will factor in your fitness level, time for training, and your distance and pace goals. Each race presents a different challenge, and requires different preparation.
Standard Runner Package
$240/month. This is perfect for the athlete with a clear race goal, and is ideal for marathoners and half marathoners, and runners looking for a longterm support, multiple goals, etc.
This includes:
- A personalized training plan on Final Surge
- Guidance with running nutrition
- Guidance on strength training and stretching (dynamic and static)
- Guidance on pacing and racing goals and strategies
- Unlimited support via video chat, email, and Final Surge
- Everything you’ll need to head to your races feeling prepared, fresh, and with a clear strategy for race day.
If necessary due to injury/medical conditions, any package may be frozen for one month at no additional cost. Otherwise, a 2-weeks notice is required for all training freezes and cancelations.

**Coach Corky is not offering any in-person pacing at this time – coaching will be done virtually. With a compatible communication style, most athletes will thrive on the virtual coach model.
90-Minute Consultation
$200.00 – this is ideal for the runner or running coach looking for a one-time consultation with Coach Corky! The 90-minute video chat is designed to answer your questions, and give you as many tools possible within the session. Whether you are looking to get her two-cents of how to taper and tackle your goal race, have general running questions, or are eager to create your own running business, Corky will field your questions to the best of her ability. Show up ready to take notes!
