Life lately: lots of time in the gym and on the fl Life lately: lots of time in the gym and on the floor with Nigel. Patiently working my hamstring and getting back to 5 runs per week. 

Canceling my goal marathon for Fall, while replacing it with an actual legit vacation with @christopherkeelty.

Never giving up or losing perspective on what my racing goals look like, while recognizing every setback is an opportunity to get better. 

Sometimes we just have to remember that we have one body, and it’s always best to prioritize it over an arbitrary timeline. Honoring the timeline our body needs is the key to achieving our goals without wrecking ourselves.

Zero hamstring sensation today for the first time since July 10th feels like a big win.

Please note than I do NOT have any in-person availability at this time. That said, most runners thrive on a virtual relationship with excellent communication.

Great candidates: runners who love to run, and want to improve. Strong communication skills are the most important ingredient to thriving as an athlete.

I can and will give you strength training to support your running - I am a personal trainer in addition to a running coach. I am NOT a registered dietitian, doctor or physical therapist, but have an excellent list of referrals if you need guidance in those areas.

If you are currently on my roster, or we’ve scheduled a chat or exchanged emails discussing working together this month- no need to worry! Returning runners will be my priority, but I can’t guarantee a spot.

Okay, if you want to work together in 2026 hit me up! I won’t take on more athletes than I can handle without compromising the care and attention of my roster. I focus on quality over quantity, so if that’s what you are seeking, let’s connect.
Gonna take a moment here to brag: @christopherkeel Gonna take a moment here to brag: @christopherkeelty stepped up into big roles at both the @warwicknydems and @naacpmiddletown in the last two years, and today he received the Democrat of the Year Distinguished Service Award.

The time, care and attention Chris has brought to his volunteer work over his adulthood continues to evolve into bigger and more impressive things. The tireless hours I witness of him on his computer and in meetings - he’s an activist who truly cares. And this is on top of his job in nonprofit, working to end of the death penalty in the US.

I know I’m a little biased, but I get to walk through life with one of the absolute best people. It’s so easy to love someone who’s constantly raising the bar for being a better person.

When you get to navigate life with your best friend, the hard times are few because you are always on a team.

While the original plan was a combo of marathon training on the @stgeorgemarathon course and vacation in Las Vegas, my right hamstring decided that plans are subject to change.🙃
•
Lots of time on an elliptical, many tacos and countless margaritas made for a different but still great time with @mmmarni. We hiked, hung by pools and got to hang out together for the first time in 8 months. 👯‍♀️
•
Now to get home, get to PT, and see if there’s a chance in hell my hamstring will be marathon ready in 8 weeks after 4 weeks of little/no running. 🫣
